WaicUp.org
One organization.
Many movements.
We build youth-driven campaigns across nature, culture, climate and civic life. From getting young people outdoors to art, organizing and policy, we help ideas become action.

Out in nature.
The outdoors belongs to all of us.
Too many young queer, BIPOC and working-class people grow up shut out of green space: no safe route to the park, no one who looks like them on the trail, no time or money to get there.
We build campaigns that get the next generation outdoors and into the climate movement on their own terms. People protect the places they love, and everyone deserves the chance to love them.

Access
Green space is not shared fairly. We push for safe, free and welcoming ways for young people to get outside.
Belonging
Queer, BIPOC and working-class young people should see themselves on the trail, in the park and at the front of the climate movement.
Protection
From the Amazon to the lakes of Madison, our reporting connects young people to the places at stake, and to the fight to keep them.
Culture moves first.
Art, fashion, music and storytelling reach people that policy papers never will.
We back civic artists and youth organizers, and we have taken the movement onto murals and sidewalks, into prom night and onto the runway. Culture is how a cause becomes something people feel part of.
OneMillionOfUs
Our flagship campaign.
Empowering the next generation through voter education, civic engagement and mobilization.
Built with young people.

A youth-led media platform for climate and social issues. News, interviews and on-the-ground reports that put underrepresented young voices into major outlets.
Read the stories
With the UN, we advocated for persecuted queer refugees, reaching over one million people and securing the UN’s first recognition of LGBTQ+ people as vulnerable to climate change.
The story
Informing and empowering a new generation of voters with the tools and resources to take part in democracy.
Get involved
Founded by leaders of the School Strike for Climate movement, we co-organized the UK’s largest climate protest in history, with over 100,000 students.
